Monday is Swim Night. We have 2 x 1 hourly sessions running from 6.00 pm – 7.00 pm and 7.00pm – 8.00pm. To participate in our swim sessions we request you are able to swim a minimum of 2 lengths front crawl. If you can do this you can come along and we will assess what group you would best fit into unless of course you are a competent swimmer anyway!. £3 payable through the club online bank ( covers the cost of lane hire) ( NO requirement to pay at reception ) Book in advance from Sunday evening here
There is also the option of a recovery paced run of around 4/5 miles before or after the 7pm or 8pm swim sessions.
Wednesday is Run Night and during the winter months (January – April). Sessions will vary from trail runs, fartlek sessions, track sessions, time trails etc. locations will also vary across Glenrothes and each week will be posted on the sunday evening for booking. all abilities catered for no one will be left behind session will be 6:30pm to 7:30pm
From early May this changes to Open Water Swimming at Lochore Meadows. After the swim there is the option of a recovery paced run in the grounds of the park. (weather and temp dependant )
Thursday night is another Swim Night and at present there is only a 1 hour session wit 2 lanes 7:00 pm – 8.00 pm. It is primarily for new members or those who may have a trial session. Also aimed at improving stroke and technique to be able to move to a Monday night session. If spaces are free its also open to people who missed out on the Monday session due to numbers. £3 payable through club online bank ( NO need to pay at reception )
Saturday/Sunday Weekend training varies from Road Cycling, Mountain Bike sessions, Run sessions or a mix of both. Weather and Events can have an impact on weekend training so it’s decided week on week.
Sunday cycle lessons There are ongoing club cycling rides taking place coached by our team of coaches. Great opportunity for those new to road cycling, not confident on a bike or group riding and to build confidence and improve technique. £3 payable through online club bank and booked each week like all other sessions
Turbo Session/winter zwift
Throughout the lockdown and winter period we have successfully held Tuesday night zwift club rides and on a thursday evening social zwift/zoom turbo sessions. The aim later in the year will be to re-commence and provide over winter period. This also may include indoor turbo sessions, so watch out for more details later in the year
